expertsküchentrends is the premium trade fair for the culinary scene. With its positive growth rates for premium exhibitors and brands, it is the major platform for unusual and high-quality products and services for trade visitors from southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland and neighbouring countries.

A happy success story. It all began in 2004 when the first 'Infotag für Küchenspezialisten' [Information day for culinary specialists] was held. The venue alternated between Nuremberg and Munich. Only a few exhibitors attended. The concept was a success. Year on year the number of exhibitors and visitors increased. Then in 2007 a decision had to be made. For 2008 the 'Infotag' would be strategically repositioned and represented. This was the birth of the küchentrends brand. The claim to be a "specialist fair for kitchen experts" gave a clear message as to what kind of fair it was and who was its target audience.

The vision of the küchentrends team: "Our vision is to establish küchentrends as a successful premium specialist fair for the demanding culinary scene by 2015. With the support of all premium exhibitors and brands it should become anchored in the long term around the Munich location."

In 2008 küchentrends got off to an ideal start with 26 premium exhibitors and brands. In 2009 a growth of over 200% was achieved, with 63 premium exhibitors and brands. When asked why they exhibit at küchentrends, the premium exhibitors answer enthusiastically as follows: 'Communicative, exciting, valuable. In just two days we achieve very many high-quality contacts with specialist visitors." Word gets round. For 2010 the rate of growth was again a pleasing 188%. 188 premium exhibitors and brands presented unusual and high-quality services and products to the visitors in halls 1 and 2 of the M,O,C, Munich.

The küchentrends concept is communicative, open and appealing. The stands invite one to make acquaintances, network and exchange information. In the cafe bar, lounge and podium, visitors can taste delicious free delicacies, while also gaining many informative highlights on the trendy subject of cooking. The küchentrends claim for 2010 will be based on this successful result. The premium manufacturers and brands are now yet more clearly appreciated.
